My MOM Angelita Hernandez passed away Monday February 19, 2007 at 12:28 pm In Lubbock, TX

Here i sit, not sure what to say Just taking life on, day by day I know i should be happy to be alive But how many disappointments can one survive Ive learned the world doesn't stop, it keeps on spinning So i should get up, walk and keep on grinning.

Our Mom (Angelita Hernandez) showed us Love, showed us how to be strong and how not to give up in life. Almost five years have come and gone almost five years of long battles with breast, lung and now brain cancer, Our Mother is in a fight for her last breath. Believing in a miracle is what we are Praying for. Seeing our Mom in her struggle for her last breath we let her know how much we Love her, how much we care, how much she did for all of us and how much she changed us all.

I was reading some poems on cancer and came upon this small poem above. What else can i say about Our Mother. Five years of being strong, five years of showing us how to be strong, how not to give up in life. Be strong, fight for life, live for life and enjoy life is what she would say. Our Mom showed us all that if you give up in life the next morning will not be so bright.

Mom, I believe that at this time in life if you close your eyes and say good bye you will find each and every morning brighter than all the stars put together up in the sky. To prove to us that you don't give up is something you went beyond any one person could have done. You proved to us all that you OUR MOM is someone that will not give up. Mom, if you need to, close your eyes and believe in God who is looking from up above.

Five years ago he said he was not ready for you. I guess that tells you what he has waiting for you up in Heaven. Five years of working up in Heaven for your arrival is something special that will await you. All this Mom, because you showed us all how to be strong, how not to give up and how you fought your cancer.

Mom you made us stronger, you made us look at life in a different way. It will be sad if you must go but deep down inside i will be forever happy that you fought cancer and gave it your all, that your in Heaven if you chose to say goodbye. Remember you made us all proud. (MOM) WE LOVE YOU
