Preparing the Exterior Surface
Wash the Surface: All exterior surfaces need to be washed down using a mixture of trisodium phosphate (TSP) and bleach to remove dirt and kill mildew.
Cleaning and washing down the surface then must be done next with pressure washer. Proper precautions also must be taken so a mess of paint is not left on the ground after I have finished.

Sand & Prime
Sand & scrape to remove loose paint where needed, if I sand anything down to the bare wood, I will apply specific prime/ sealer to that surface before the finish paint. Primer/ sealer gives the paint something to adhere to and seal the surface.
Holes & cracks are filled with wood filler or caulking where needed
