There is too much (early) Picasso in it (or even Miro) than that it would fit in line with Caspar David Friedrich or the music of Franz Schubert. But WHAT is more modern in Your paintings that makes it clearly 20th century (if not 21st..)? Well, maybe the very KIND of desperation, which is not 19th century. Something has already dissolved, it is definite.

..First time, that I had a look at Your paintings... I recognize a certain stile in it.....besides that it is bloody Russian... But I didn't say anything negative, on the contrary: I am drawn to what this might be, which seems so different from what I usually see. It is easier to say on the colors, which are VERY defined: A fat blue of a certain kind, a fat red of the same kind and so on..., but it is harder to say about the rest. Maybe it seems old-fashioned somehow (just SEEMS..) compared to this cold high-tech world we are living in, but not barock. It reminds me of 1900-1920 (when did Edward Munck paint his SCREAM ?) - Russian revolution....Majaskovski...DADA.... when was this? For me Your paintings contain something mystic, something from under the earth, but not just purely romantic...
